Words Associated with Directions


The type of words we use while giving directions are generally verbs. A verb can be used:
  1. As an action word, it is something that you do, like walk or play or eat.
  2. As a state of being: "My name is Jake. I am 7 years old. I am Russian!"
  3. As an occurrence/happening: "The snow glistened on the tree tops."
