November 21, "Sober Night Out"
ACME (Asian Cultural and Media Experience) present "Sober Night Out" in the Function Room, Corey Union, Cortland Campus. The admission costs is $1 for students, $3 for faculty/staff, and $3 for non-students. Everyone in the community is welcome. November 18, Choral Union
8 pm, Dowd Fine Arts Theatre, SUNY Cortland. Students, members of the college faculty and staff, and members of the community combine to present classical choral singing at its best. Admission is free.

November 23, Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company
7 pm, Dowd Fine Arts Center Theatre, SUNY Cortland. The Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company is a nationally acclaimed troupe with an international cast that combines the rich tradition of Chinese art with contemporary dance. November 27, Turkey Trot
The Fidelis 6-pack is a series of 5K races around the Cortland area. 1-mile fun runs and walks also take place at each event so everyone can participate! This race is co-sponsored by the Cortland YMCA and the CRSC Race Series. For more information or to register, visit www.cortlandymca.org.

December 2008:

December 2, Holiday Concert
8 pm, Dowd Fine Arts Theatre, SUNY Cortland. Vocal and instrumental music of the season, from traditional carols to jazz and gospel. There will even be a carol sing-along. Free admission.

December 4, "Sign Language: A Look at Cortland County Historical Markers"
7:45 am (Refreshments), 8-9 am (Presentation and Discussion), Park Center, Hall of Fame Room (off Tompkins Street), SUNY Cortland. Open parking for Roundtable attendees. Speakers: Jeremy Boylan, Cortland County Historian, Mindy Leisenring, Director, Cortland County Historical Society. Free and open to the public. December 6 and 7, The Nutcracker Ballet
7 pm on Saturday; 2 pm on Sunday, Dowd Fine Arts Theatre, SUNY Cortland. The holiday favorite returns for two performances! Featured are dancers from the Department of Performing Arts and the Performing Arts Institute. A perfect holiday delight for the whole family!


December 6, Karla Bonoff
8 pm, Center for the Arts, 72 S. Main St., Homer. If you lived through the 1980s and owned a radio at the time, you heard Karla's music through the voices of Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Wyonna Judd and Lynn Anderson.
