The Cuckoo in the Woods

Whoosh!!!  I’m running through the forest.  I hear a mysterious sound and it goes “cuckoo.”  I don’t know what it is.  I hear it again.  I am starting to get scared!  I hear it again and I turned around a saw….

A Cuckoo Bird!

I burst out laughing and then I went home.  Tomorrow I went back and saw it at the edge of the forest!  It followed me when I was picking berries.  I went home and the Cuckoo Bird followed.  I guess it really likes me.

The cuckoo bird is happy!!  The elephant pokes the cuckoo bird and the cuckoo “cuckoos” at the elephant.
