Donkey

Donkey

Donkeys may be black
And they might come in a pack
They might like cream
Just don’t make them scream
They may not be smart
Just don’t let them fart
They might be fast
Just make sure you last

They are gray and hairy
Horse like mammal
Stubborn as a person just waking up
They like hot dry weather
They’re strong and sturdy
They drink a lot of water
And they look like horses
They’re vegetarians
And they have a loud scream
They sound like a horse with a sore throat
If there angry stay away

Donkey

Hair rough as sand paper.  With many cowlicks.  Like wavy oceans protecting their tough skin.  Their smell horrendous like sulfur. Their
hoofs go click clack as they disappear into the hot, sandy plains.  You watch their tails swing while they grind the thick, bitter grass.  They sound like a rusty wheelbarrow on a farm.  The animal stubborn like a statue never moving from its place.

Donkey

Donkeys are usually gray but they can be many different colors.  Donkeys smell really bad and they feel like rough sand paper grinding against a wooden chair.  They sometimes have white patches all over their body.  Donkeys have big ears and big teeth.  They live in a hot dry climate.  They are very stubborn and sometimes can’t decide what they want.  They chew just like rabbits, their jaw goes side to side when they chew.  They are a mammal that means they have hair like fur.  Donkeys are horse like creatures.  They mostly live in fenced in areas. Sometimes they live in barns with cows, pigs, horses, calves, and baby horses. Donkeys usually have hay where ever they are.  Donkeys were discovered in 1948.  Donkeys usually make a noise like Hee-haw.

Donkeys

Their legs go clicky clonk all the way down the tracks,
They can kick but they also lick,
The noise they make is hee haw, sounds like a horn,
They will eat grass,
But not a bass,
Their fur is soft just like a cat’s purr,
They are mammals just like camels,
Their date could be late,
Their skin is grey like storm clouds,
They have hooves just like horses,
Their hooves can be used if they’re in salt
water.  They can use them to get the clean, fresh water
from the soil and drink it.

DONKEYS

Donkeys chew like Rabbits.
Their teeth go back and fourth like a yoyo.
Their hooves sound like people marching on wood click clack, click clack.
If you have an angry Donkey, do not stand in back of it or you’ll get hit like a football player ran into you.
A Donkey makes a weird sound. It sounds like a cow dying.

Donkey

Donkey.
Trudges along.
Down a musty old trail.
A swirling dusty path.
Click clack click clack.
Go their lanky, clanky legs.
Screech screech.
Its noise is as an un-oiled door.
Short, stubby, hairy tails.
Follow them from behind.
Flailing all about.
Flat, unsharpened teeth to chew grass.
Munch munch.
They go.
Their hair feels similar to steel wool.
Nestled just right on their bodies.

In the coal mines they go clip clop.
They have a lot of names’ one is a Jack a**.
Some will let you ride them, some might not let you ride them.

Donkey

They’re fat, They’re furry like a warm blanket in the winter.
They have long ears like a big dog’s ear.
They’re as gray as a lady’s gray hair.
They have big eyes as a button.
They have a long tail like a person’s pony tail.
They’re as smooth as a bunny rabbit’s fur.
They’re as rough as a person’s hair when they
don’t brush it.
They stand about four feet tall like a Giraffe
standing up.

Donkeys

Donkeys have big ears,
Donkey’s make loud sounds,
They come in a pack.
Donkeys are…herbivores, mammals, sometimes they’re small, sometimes they’re big, sometimes they are in the colors of gray, black, brown, and white.  They have hair on the tip of their tail.  They have big front teeth.  They are like a little horse.  They’re very stubborn.  They’re also called borrows.  They are also fury all over.  They have manes down the back of their neck.  They make a he –ha sound.  They also eat grass.

Donkeys have long manes,
Donkeys have hair on their tail,
    They make weird noises.

Donkeys make a sound louder than a trumpet, but softer than a tuba.
Donkeys are taller than a baby, but smaller than an adult.
He – ha goes a donkey.

Donkeys

They’re black and they come in a pack. Don’t flick, or they’ll kick.
Some live behind a fence, after they kick you you’ll be tense.
They’re black and grey, but when they’re angry, stay away.
Their hair is rough, why don’t you be tough.
They feel like they’re in jail, I wonder if they will ever bail.
They have ears, so don’t let them hear.
They’ll leave you in the dust, after you lose you’ll have a fuss.
They’re strong and sturdy, but sometimes they can be dirty.
When they’re mad, they look like my dad.
When they run down a hill, they look like Dr. Phil.

Donkeys

They sound like a cow with a sore throat. They’re big. They’re strong.
They run gladly and quickly. They’re wide eyed. They have a hee-haw sound.
They can be grumpy or bright as the sun on a hot summer day.
They can brutally kick you. They’re unbelievably smart.
Their height is between a bear standing up, and a dog on all fours.

Wild mules are brave like a bold horse.  Mules are intelligent.  They are even more intelligent than a donkey.  A mule is offspring of a male donkey and a female horse.  Horses and donkeys are different species, with different numbers of chromosomes.  Some mules are brown as brown paint and some are as white as a bright white light and some mules are so bulky.

Student: Alexis Schemerhorn
                                                            Wild Mules
One cool summer morning there was a bunch of mules resting and hunting food, like apples and eating dry grass.  Then something scared them.  It was a bunch of hunters riding on their horses.  But the mules were so smart and intelligent.  They got away to live another day in Paradise.

Student: Nicole Fink
                                                The Wild Mules
One summer day there was a pack of mules running fast and furious through the grass making the grass swerve then they stopped…looked and ran back.  Then they started to run faster and faster.  They heard feet racing toward them. It was their predator.  It was a wolf.  Soon enough the wolf had been on their tails.  So they ran into the forest and lost the wolf.  Then one of the mules was eating an apple from an apple tree.  So they all ate apples.

Summer, Fall, or Winter the mules are always on the move.  They might be grazing for food like grass.  The median weight for a mule is between 800 and 1,000 pounds.  Mules are always on the move and if they ever stopped jumping and leaping they wouldn’t be as energetic as they are now. 1,2,3…blast off!!!  Running and looking at the beautiful sights are the mules. 5,4,3,2,1…here we go again.

                                                Dawn
                                    from very frigid to tepid.
                                            As the mule
                                            starts to chomp
                                    crispy dried greens,
                                     the wolf starts to stalk.
                                               Jumping out
                                        tripping on a rock.
Falling into the abyss never to be
                                                seen again.

Student: Izeah Williams
                                                Wild Mules
                                               Mules are fast
                                    They are dangerous and furious
so don’t get too close or they will poke.
They are large and bulky, frenetic, too.
                                           Don’t try to pet them.
If you pet them on the backside they might kick you
                                                Because
they are strong and that would be
                                                wrong.

                                             Wild Mules

                                     They could be young or
                                              maybe old
                                           maybe energetic
                                            nobody knows.
                                     Maybe intelligent, dramatic,
                                         definitely noteable.
Abslutely striking, yet fast, prey or playful,
                                         nobody knows yet.
I must find out and when I do
                                            I may shout!

                                   These so wild mules are
                                     clever and so sweet
                                 They might look so gigantic
                                                but
                                  they really are so neat.
                                  You can be their friend
                                   If you are so bold.
                                  They are endangered
                                          animals
                                  and energetic I'm told
                                  The animals I speak of
                                are intelligent and sure footed.
                                  Now before I end there's
                                  something I need to ask.
If you were a mule what would
                                    you be known for?

Student:  Nick Strobeck

                                           Wild Mules

                                    A group of wild mules
                                       running from their
                                           predator
                                     to survive no matter
                                         what season.
Some are small, and some are large
                                         wild donkeys.
                                        They are being
                                              clever
                                      climbing mountains and hills.
They are being careful not to fall.
They finally escape from the predator.
The predator can't find them so the predator
                                           gives up.
