Rubric for In-country Class Preparation and Participation:
 
Grade
Description
A
Participates every class session. Demonstrates preparation and is focused on the topic.  Starts on the project right away and takes advantage of workshops [talleres]. Is 100% immersed in the class and program.
B
Participates often. Attentive in class. Occasionally volunteers. Starts on the project in a timely fashion and uses workshops effectively. Shows an active interest in the class and program. 
C
Participates occasionally. Attentive in class, but does not volunteer. May have trouble getting the project started. May not use the workshops to the fullest. Shows a passive interest in the class and program. 
D
Seldom participates. Does not get started on project right away and does not make good use of the workshops. Does not show interest in the class or program.
E
Does not participate and is not prepared for class or workshops. Does not show interest in the class or program
