As a learner of Spanish, I recognize the benefit of language
immersion experiences.  I agree with the basic educational assumption
that there is a direct correlation between the amount of time spent
using a second language and the level of fluency attained.  I agree,
therefore, to comply with the pledge to use Spanish to the best of
my ability as my only language of communication during the SUNY Cortland University program (SPA 529) at Universidad Veritas in San José, Costa Rica.
