About Me

My Position at SUNY Cortland

I have a dual job title - Coordinator/Instructor Information and Computer Literacy, as well as Librarian. What this means is I am a librarian, whose primary responsibility is teaching in the Computer Applications Minor Program.

I co-authored with Mark Connell, two computer textbooks - Fundamentals of MS Office 2003 and Fundametnals of MS Office 2007.

I am Past President (2001-2002) of the State University of New York Librarians Association (SUNYLA). I co-authored with Amy Rockwell, College at Buffalo, a page on library instruction beyond SUNY for the SUNY Librarians Association Library Instruction Committee.

I received the Chancellors Award for Excellence in Librarianship in 2005.

Education

I am a graduate in American History from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

I received my M.Ed. from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. My concentration was School Media.

I received my M.L.S. degree from College of Computing and Information at the University at Albany.
