- After rereading text and notes, review key terms, and application exercises at end of chapters.
- Complete review sheets by writing out all answers completely - using complete sentences - this will help you to recall the information better during the exam. To guage your readiness, print out clean copy and try to answer the questions without refering to notes or text. Keep in mind that the review sheets do NOT cover all the material, but serve to supplement the text review and to test your knowledge of much of the foundation information. Here are links to review sheets for chapters 1, and 2.
- Know and understand terms and key points (don't just memorize them). Be sure you fully know the information.
- Be able to come up with examples for all the different types of skills.
- Know how to classify skills using table1.1.
- Be sure to review absolute and constant error and be able to explain how it describes performance (i.e. on the Bassin anticipation timing apparatus from lab).
- Just because information from the text was not covered in class, does NOT mean it will not appear on test.
