improve, sustain and
enhance the service, operation and facilities of the Peck Memorial Library
in order to provide
essential library services and programming for the citizens of the Marathon,
NY area. |
Volunteering at the Library
If you have a little extra time and
would like to give a helping hand with everyday tasks at the library please
contact Mary Frank for a schedule and a list of tasks that help is needed
with. Tasks include assisting at the desk,
phoning patrons, shelving books, dusting and more. You can volunteer on a
weekly or monthly basis or a one time
shot on specific tasks. It is up to you and the time you have available (as
long as it fits in with what needs doing).
Another way to assist the library meet
it's day to day needs for cleaning supplies, etc. is to add some of the
following items to your shopping list and drop them off at the library.
As of September 9th, the list of needed
supplies is: Paper Towels (Bounty or Brawny), 13 gal Trash Bags, Top
Job or similar cleaner,
Endust, Febreeze, Clorox Wipes, and Bathroom Bowl Cleaner.
