HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVITIES:

Jorge Luis Romeu has been involved with Human Rights activities and
organizations for many years. Romeu has been active in the AAAS Human
Rights and in Amnesty International Committees and has been a Member
and Consultant for the American Statistical Association's Committee.
He is also the Chair of the Human Rights Committee for the National
Association of Cuban-American Educators (NACAE). Romeu has written
extensively about human rights problems in Cuba, in American, Mexican
and Spanish newspapers. He has also presented and published several
articles in national professional conferences.
