On Feburary 2006, the two classes went to Camp Huntington on Raquette Lake in the center of the Adirondack Park for a three-day outdoor education retreat. Camp Huntington, also known as Huntington Memorial Camp, is one of 4 outdoor education centers run by SUNY Cortland. Located on Raquette Lake¡¯s Long Point (a road-less peninsula), the site is only accessible by boat in the summer and by an ice road in the winter. The site is a National Historic Landmark and was the first of the ¡°Adirondack Great Camps¡±. Visit Camp Huntington for more information
