This burial site is on the north side of the Old Seneca Turnpike in Skaneateles. If one proceeds north along State Street from Skaneateles and turns right onto the Old Seneca Turnpike the plot will be found in a hedgerow of the Joseph Sutton farm. Supposedly there are two graves from circa 1800, but there are no stones. The plot is on private property.
Beth Batlle, the Skaneateles Town Historian, was the first to tell me of these graves.
