Savage Sons Reunion
Fiftieth Anniversary of Commissioning

Are you a Savage Son of VC-5? The squadron is celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of its commissioning at the HILTON Hotel, September 10-12, 1998, in Sunnyvale, California. Note that this a change (20 July 1998) in hotels! This change was necessitated because the originally scheduled hotel will not be ready in time. There will be no cost increase because of the change. (Park Regency is eating the increase if there is one.) If you have not been contacted, send an email message to Don Baumer, send him snail mail to 407 Mills Court, Benicia, California 94510, or ring him up at 707-746-8834.

If you are flying in, use either San Jose or San Francisco Airport.

I have been given to understand that Adm. "Chick" Hayward will be among those in attendance. The event promises to be a memorable one. Be there if you can!
