1)  Elio passa sempre le ferie a Cortina.  Secondo lui, le Dolomiti sono le più belle montagne in Italia.
      (Elio always spends his holidays in Cortina.  According to him (In his opinion), the Dolomites are the most beautiful mountains in Italy.)

2)  Marisa, sei la persona più importante del mondo.  Non posso vivere senza si te.
      (Marisa, you are the most important person in the world.  I can't live without you.)

3)  Angela è molto egoista.  Parla solo di sé.
      (Angela is very selfish.  She only talks about herself.)

4)  Siete al mare?  Che tempo fa?  Come vanno le cose da voi?
      (Are you guys at the sea/beach?  What's the weather like?  How are things going with you'all (at your place)?

5)  Pioverà, penso.  Secondo me, arriva il brutto tempo.
      (It will rain, I think.  According to me (In my opinion), bad weather is coming.)

      (Hi, Marta.  Here the weather is great (stupendous).  How is it at your place?

3)  Viviamo in montagna -- da noi in inverno fa freddo.
      (We live in the mountains -- at our place in the winter it's cold.)

4)  Vittorio e Teresa ci hanno inviato a cena.  Andiamo da loro stasera.
      (Vittorio and Teresa invited us to dinner.  We are going to their place tonight.)

5)  Rocco ha una casa sulla spiaggia.  Se andiamo da lui possiamo nuotare.
