Don't feel scared or intimidated if you cannot answer those questions. As a future educator, however, you will be called upon to answer a variety of questions. So many, in fact, that there is no way you could ever learn everything that you need to know about Biology. In addition, the amount of information available in the sciences is growing everyday.

An important and successful strategy that you can employ in the future is searching for information, and I don’t just mean on the web. The ability to use good quality and reliable resources is a bedrock skill that any scientist must have. This skill will only serve to further your abilities in the classroom.


The following tutorial is designed in order to demonstrate the difference between types of source information and the importance of evaluating the sources that you use.
