What can you read in the book? Look at your class notes!

Try to find a relevant article in the book and imitate the sorts of analyses the authors make. You might take a look at pages 150-151 in Andersen/ Collins.

What I want you to do is break the pictures down into their elements, for example, attitudes conveyed by facial expressions. Analyze the pictures themselves as to how they communicate to the viewer.

The issue you should address somehow - there's no one right answer here! - is the dominance of images of couples (white, heterosexual, able bodied, etc.) in our society and link that to the content or aesthetic form of the pictures.
