Physical Geology

Physical Geology is an introductory Geology course designed for science majors. It is a requirement for students majoring in Geology (GLY), Geology-Environmental Science Concentration (GLY-E), Adolescence Education--Earth Science (AES), Biology-Environmental Science Concentration (BIO-E), and Secondary Education--Biology (SBI). Students enrolled in this course will be exposed to basic principles in the study of physical, chemical, and biological processes operating at and below the Earth's crust. The topics covered are listed in the course syllabus (see below).
