1. ON TIME: Please be signed in, seated, and ready at the start of the scheduled class time.

2. NO VOICE: Please use ASL when you enter the classroom. Verbal conversations can take place in the hallway.

3. NO GUM: It is distracting to watch someone chew gum while trying to concentrate on what they are signing.

4. NO HATS: Hats interfere with communication since there are ASL grammatical features produced on the face.
|
|
5. NO TEXTING:
Texting during class is rude and is not conducive to any learning
environment. ASL requires eye contact or you cannot learn the
language. STUDENTS WILL EARN AN AUTOMATIC 0 IF SEEN TEXTING DURING CLASS TIME.
