A Quick Note About Periodicals:

Different periodicals contain different types of information. Newspapers usually have recent newsworthy stories. Magazines are similar. Journals are usually different because they are a place for publishing more scholarly work. Below is an example of stem cell information from a newspaper, a magazine, and a journal article. How are they all different?

Newspaper - "The attack on adult stem cells" - Washington Times

Magazine - "Stems and Response to Christopher Reeves Death" - Newsweek

Journal - "Bone marrow stem cells regenerate infarcted myocardium" - Journal of Pediatric Transplants
