An overview of the sport management field, investigating the structure of sport in North America including contemporary and future issues of sport. Students will conduct a career analysis as a major project and presentation. This course covers both a macro and micro perspective regarding management theory and organizational behavior as applied specifically to sport organizations. (3 cr. hr.)
