Week 5 Feb.22	Library Day The class will meet with librarian Lorraine Melita in the Interactive Reference Area (the computer area on second floor) in the library. p Expectations: Master the literature search skills so that you are able to do research for your proposal writing. Prepare 10 entries of annotated bibliographies (which will also be the bases of your literature review draft #2 (10+5). Out of the 10 entries, at least 5 need to be empirical research; at least 3 need to be action research. Week 6 Mar.1	Literature Review (I) Due: Draft #1 Readings to prepare and bring to class this week : 1. Handouts on Literature Review (Chapter 6, 7, 8) you received from the Access Librarain Lorraine Melita last Wed. 2. Your textbook: The Art of Action Research, Chapter 5: The Lagacy of Distance Teachers-Creative Literature Review 3. Your textbook: APA Concise Manual Shufang will meet with each student individually or in small groups (of two or three people) to provide indidual support for the course project next week.
