Final Rest
This is a page that for a long time I have been meaning to create. I have a relatively large backlog of information about burial locations scattered throughout my notes. I will do my best to get to them soon. In the meantime, you will just have to consider this page "under construction."
Note that I have not been consistent in where on the site I have listed deaths and burial places. Sometimes it is here, and sometimes it is as a link from the man's name in the roster. Check both places.

- ARMSTRONG, GeorgeOn 24 July 2008, Roger RODEOBUM69@aol.com sent me an email, saying, "I came across a veterans plot when I was doing a photo request on FINDAGRAVE.COM for a George Armstrong. The Cemetery records had him in the 12 NY Cav. Comp E. however there is no head stone I am in the process of getting one for him. he died on Nov 20 1917 in Sacramento Ca. He is buried at Sacramento City Cemetery. . ."

- DAVIS, Henry B.buried in Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio. The gravestone inscription is, "Henry B. Davis - Co. B - 12 N.Y. Cav."

He is buried in Section 1 Lot 40, Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles, N.Y. His great-grandniece, Sheila Schweitzer, geniearchive@juno.com, has provided me with a copy of his obituary.

[This email message is consistent with the AGO entry that also says he died at Andersonville. He is not, however, listed in the Andersonville records.]
- MOORE, RileyAccording to an email from his GGG-granddaughter Robbin Robinson shilii_nez@yahoo.com on July 17, 2008, his full name was William Riley Moore. He was buried at the Citizen's Cemetery, Ipswich, Edmunds County, South Dakota. DOD is not known, but he was still alive in 1920.

- RIGGS, CHARLES E.born in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, April 10, 1847, and died at Canton, Pennsylvania, March 25, 1907. He is buried at the Park Cemetery, Canton, Pennsylvania. His age at enlistment was apparently only 17 rather than the 20 that is listed in the AGO report. Other information indicates that he was also a member of the 47th Pennsylvania Militia. - RUSSELL, Robert T. H.Robert T. H. Russell was born in Whitby, Canada. He died at age 51 years, 7 months, on August 20, 1891, in Long Branch, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Robert is interred at Calvary Cemetery (Section 11, Range 1, Plot G, Grave 15) in Woodside, Queens, New York.
