Residence Hall Director


Each building has a Residence Hall Director, also known as a RHD. The RHD is a live-in professional that oversees the residence hall and the student staff within the hall. This person usually has or is working towards a Master's Degree.

About Rachael:
Rachael did her undergrad at SUNY Cortland and received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education in May of 2012. As an undergrad, Rachael was President of Spectrum and served as a student staff member for two years. She contributed to Orientation and was a member of various other organizations. Upon graduation, Rachael received her first faculty position at SUNY Cortland, where she worked as the Program Assistant for Orientation in the Advisement and Transition Office. In July of 2012, Rachael received a graduate assistantship as the Hall Manager of Whitaker Hall, working for Residence Life and Housing. In September of the same year, Rachael was offered a professional position as the Residence Hall Director of Glass Tower, where she currently works and resides.
