Fall 2012

Blood Drive (October 1st)
12:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Park Center

The blood drive is an annual event run by WSUC. Club members and students alike volunteer to donate their blood for people who are in dire need. Participants will recieve an events credit towards participation in radio as well as free giveaways from the station.

Doug Frieldel Commemoration (October 19th)
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Park Center

Former DJ Hailey Ruoff will conduct a two hour on-air broadcast in honor of former station manager Doug Frieldel.

Fall Fest (October 21st)
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Corey Union

Fall fest is a new tradition at SUNY Cortland. It takes all the aspects from the Spring Fling carnival and adds a fall feel to it. WSUC will be providing the music through their portable DJ system. DJ's are encouraged to sign up for an hour and share their musical taste with other SUNY Cortland students.

Cor 101 WSUC Promotion (November 11th)
2:50 PM - Van Hoesen B-112

We will be presenting in professor van der Veur's COR 101 class in order to promote the radio station and our club. An easy way to earn a quick credit.

Spring 2012

WSUC BBQ
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Moffet Lawn

The WSUC BBQ is a free barbeque run entirely by WSUC. With food complements of ASC, the BBQ event is a local favorite. East some great food. Listen to awesome music. Throw around a frisbee or a football. It's a great time and we encourage everyone to come! Promotional items will be given away on a limited basis.

Lose The Shoes 3v3 Soccer Tournament (April 21st)
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Davis Field

Lose The Shoes is a long-standing tradition in the SUNY Cortland community. Cortland's Club Soccer teams come together to organize a 3 v 3 barefoot soccer tournament with donations going towards AIDS research. A $10 entry fee gets you a place in the tournament, a FREE tournament t-shirt and TONS of giveaways.

Spring Fling Carnival (April 28th)
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Corey Union (Outside)

The Spring Fling Carnival is on Spring Fling weekend, which usually coincides with the Spring Fling Concert. The carnival is known for it's inflatable castles and fun games for students to play. WSUC DJs will be providing great music to keep the atmosphere fun and engaging.

Senior Send-off (May 1st)
5:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Alumni House

Senior Sendoff is an annual event held in the function room for departing seniors. Food and drinks are served, including beer for those over 21. It's a great time to re-connect with fellow seniors before leaving school. WSUC provides music for the entirety of the event.
