Background:
- Served as Multicultural and Gender Studies Director and as Coordinator of Women's Studies. Dr. Lawrence has been a frequent panelist and has conducted interviews with the French Public Television and International Public Broadcasting on "Barbie Culture". In 2002 she was invited to do a commentary on "What Does the Afterlife Hold for Barbie" for the Associated Press.
