SUNY Cortland Dragon A 16-second animation created by Cortland student Victor Garcia to promote the college's new word mark.
Victor Garcia created a second animation to highlight the New Communication Media Program.

COM110 Introduction to New Media

Salty 3D Animation work using Maya. This tutorial allows students to model, texture and animate a ccoplete character _ Salty the seal. Salty is built out of primitive shapes that were then bound to skeletal joints and animated.
Jack 3D Animation work using Maya. This tutorial allows students to model and amimate a whole scene using keyframing and inverse kinematics. Deformers were added for squash and stretch. Finally, camera angles were changed to enhance the effect.

COM 251 Introduction to 3D Modeling and Animation

COM 342 Field Television Production

The ENG In their first effort the 50 perCent news-team puts together a story about allegations of excessive force by local police in responding to a call after a fight broke out during an off-campus party.
The Chase In their Chase Scene the group Nobody spoofs the advertising industry in promoting the use of fabric softener dryer sheets.

COM 349 Multimedia Production

Students were recently giving a 'compression' assignment where they were given the task of creating content for distribution through a variety of media. One group of students decided to create promotional videos for the college. Here are their 5-second video for distribution over 3G phones, their 15-second television ad, and their 30-second ad for use on the web.
