Week 11 April 3rd & 5th
Microsoft Publisher: Use
desk-top Publishing program to enhance your classroom activities.
To
do this week
We are going to create two products using MS
Publisher: a monthly calendar and a newsletter. Publish the products
to your eportfolio website. And HAVE FUN!
1. Product #1 Monthly Calendar
Develop a monthly schedule of events
for your future classroom. A series of activities that relate to a
large topic(s) should be scheduled.
Project ideas
For a 4th grade country project, you probably want to include the following
stages: plan, research, write, arrange, and assemble a poster. Some dates
about deadlines and the presentations would also be useful: starting dates,
presentation dates for each class, deadlines for each class, research dates
in class. And last but not least, the decorations to fit the project!

4. Finding Resources from Internet on
Publisher: go as far as you can!!!
Rather than instructor providing links/resources
to you, this time you are encouraged to search for resources from internet
about Publisher as a group. The resources can include Publisher tutorials
for creating class calendars, class/school newsletters and brochures.
Share with the class the resources you have found.
